4/9/2012 - Pretty nice course.Needed somework as the fairways were hard and dry but overall not a bad experience.good layout and pace of play was good. The holes set up visually very well,the par threes are long carries over trouble and demand a good tee shot. If your game is together you can score well. Altogether a well laid out course....and the green fees are very modest particularly since it has a Golf Digest four and a half star rating Posted by David (Pugwash, NS CANADA) 11/25/2009 - Even though they had just verticut and topdressed recently, Hernando Oaks had the fastest greens for the week of our playing in the area. Good for us New Yorkers who have not played in months. Not much for a pro shop; however, I see they are building a new one and it looks nice. A little drive to get there from Tampa but not bad. Greens have always been in great shape and for the money, it is actually under priced in my opinion! Nice golf course in great shape.
