Since the day Westchase Golf Club in Tampa opened for play 15 years ago, the course has been one of the most popular Tee Times USA courses on Florida's West Coast. What is it about Westchase GC that makes our golf travelers come back again and again?

The National Golf Foundation surveyed players at hundreds of courses for their prestigious CLASP (Customer Loyalty and Satisfaction) awards and ranked Westchase Golf Club in the Top 10 nationally, and #1 in the state of Florida. When Tee Times USA visited Westchase in May, 2010 it was obvious that the ranking is well-deserved. Especially noticeable, besides the pristine course conditions, was the abundance of natural fauna. Who would believe the course is just 10 minutes from Tampa International Airport and literally in the heart of the city? Certainly no one planning the course, although the convenient location is appreciated by all who would rather spend their time on the links than on the highway.

Westchase is quiet, upscale and challenging. First-class service, a recently-updated clubhouse, and greens renovated with Sea Dwarf Paspalum grass add to the perfection of your day. Westchase GC features 16 lakes, 21 wetland conservation areas, 14 upland conservation areas and one creek that bisects the property. Cypress, oak, pine, maple and other trees comprise these beautiful natural habitats.
